How to Prepare the Surface for Exterior Adhesive

Application of EuroZid exterior adhesive requires firm, clean, dust and grease-free surfaces. Treat the base with EuroZid Primer or EuroZid Betonokontakt for concrete, brick or gas concrete. See Mapei training guide for further details.

EuroZid Exterior Adhesive Application

Mix 4,5-5,5 liters of water with 25 kg of exterior adhesive, using a mixer (400-600 rpm), until you obtain a homogeneous mass. Leave for 2-3 minutes, then mix again. Apply with a serrated trowel for polystyrene or tiles, press firmly. Pot life: 3 hours at 20°C. Concrete layer: 3-5 mm, applied after 24 hours.
