How to Prepare the Surface for Interior Adhesive

The application of EuroZid interior adhesive requires smooth, firm and clean surfaces, free from dust, grease or paint. Treat the base with EuroZid Primer or EuroZid Betonokontakt for increased adhesion on concrete or polystyrene. See Mapei training guide for further details.

EuroZid Interior Adhesive Application

Mix 4.5-6 litres of water with 25 kg of interior adhesive until you obtain a homogeneous mass without lumps. Leave for 5-10 minutes, then mix again. Apply with a serrated trowel (larger serrations for large tiles) and press the tiles firmly. Working time: 40 minutes at 20°C; adjust in 10 minutes. Complete drying: 24-48 hours.
