How to Prepare the Surface for Mechanized Mortar

Application of EuroZid mechanized mortar requires dry, clean, grease and dust free surfaces. Grit walls with EuroZid Primer or EuroZid Betonokontakt for optimal adhesion on BCA, brick or monolith. See Sika preparation guide for further details.

EuroZid Mechanized Mortar Application

Prepare the mechanized mortar by mixing 5 liters of water with a 25 kg bag, by hand (with a mixer) or mechanized (with a plastering machine), until you obtain a homogeneous mass. Apply in 0.5-30 mm layers, adjusting the consistency with water. For thick coats, wait for the first coat to dry. Work in the shade, between +5°C and +30°C.
