INTENDED USE:
Plaster mortar based on grey cement, sand and additives, suitable for both manual and machine application on concrete surfaces, masonry or existing renders, for interior and exterior use.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Formulated from grey cement, 0.3-1 mm graded sand and plasticizers. Provides high adhesion, excellent workability and thermal resistance.
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION:
Before application, the substrate must be checked to ensure it is sound, clean and free from impurities that may reduce adhesion (grease, bitumen, dust, etc.).
Before starting the plastering works, applying a bonding slurry is recommended. This step becomes mandatory on smooth concrete surfaces or on highly absorbent substrates (e.g., AAC masonry).
The material is prepared by mechanical mixing or using a mechanized plastering pump,
in the ratio of 25 kg powder to 5.5–6 litres of clean, cold water.
When applying the material with a plastering machine, the working consistency must be adjusted using the minimum amount of water necessary.
Mechanized application allows the material to be applied in the final thickness in a single operation (a typical plaster coat is 2–2.5 cm, but it can reach up to 4 cm).
Manual application is carried out by projecting the material onto the prepared substrate using a trowel, followed by levelling with aluminium straightedges to obtain a uniform coat. After the initial set begins, the surface can be coarse-floated to ensure proper compaction and adhesion. Surface levelling is carried out shortly after application using aluminium “H-type” straightedges. Once the mortar begins to set (after 2.5 to 12 hours, depending on ambient conditions), it can be coarse-floated during the initial setting phase.
WORKING TEMPERATURE:
+5°C to +30°C.
CONSUMPTION:
Material consumption is 12-15 kg/m² for each centimeter of applied thickness.
STORAGE:
Delivered in 25 kg bags; store in a dry, ventilated place at +5°C…+25°C, protected from moisture.
SHELF LIFE:
12 months from the production date.
